WASHINGTON, D.C - A heated conference call this Sunday between President Trump and the Prime Minister of Japan, Shigeru Ishiba, leaves many Americans to worry how the nation's capital will get its grubby hands on the highly anticipated new gaming console.
Experts describe talks beginning to break down at around only 15 minutes into the tense conference, as well as expressing concern over the political strife that this administration now faces, calling it "The worst we've seen since idk last week, probably."
For many Americans, their Nintendo Switch is a beloved and cherished member of the family and has become an integral component of the American dream. Whether it's an 8-hour-long game of Mario Party, speeding down the streets of pedestrians in a game of Mario Kart, or the righteous slaughter of thousands of Goombas in Super Mario, one thing is abundantly clear the Nintendo Switch is held tightly in the hearts of all Americans.
A recent poll reveals staggering concern from the public over this administration not securing what would become the nation's new First Console. "I don't know, it just won't feel the same as I'm exploring the lush and sprawling new open world environments of Mario Kart World, knowing President Trump won't be out there right alongside me."
"Following the announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2, Americans acted quickly to order their copy of the newest device even amid the extremely harsh and unfair pre-order qualifications, and our nation's president was no exception," said speaker Karoline Leavitt. "The fact of the matter is our president simply does not have the hours logged onto his Switch to be able to pre-order the Switch 2, and that's ok!" Leavitt goes on to say - "Mr. Trump is a busy man, maybe even the busiest in the world, but he gets on before bedtime to continue to find all the Korok seeds in Breath of the Wild like every other red-blooded American. The point of the meeting with shady Shigeru was to highlight why our administration needs to bypass these ridiculous restrictions meant to hurt Americans. It is clear now that Japan needs a firmer hand from the American government, and we will be re-evaluating their Disney privileges.
